Apostle Elaine Benson is a Pastor and influential leader in Houston,TX. She was ordained into the ministry in 1995 and was passed the mantle to pastor after the death of her beloved husband in October 2006. The church unanimously approved, and she was officially installed into the office of Pastor of First Fruits Christian Center in April 2007. The church has grown and flourished under her leadership.

 

In addition to FFCC, Pastor Elaine Benson is also the founder and Overseer of OJM International (formerly Oil of Joy Ministries) which began as a women’s ministry but has now expanded to reach generations throughout Texas, NY, and around the world.

In November 2016, Pastor Elaine was nominated to receive the Presidents Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her commitment to community & nation. She was presented with her award & pin on January 13, 2017, by Dr. Pauline Key on behalf of President Barack Obama. In April 2017 she started a publishing company called Dreamers Arise. She was officially commissioned as an Apostle April 23, 2017.
